Toshiba laptop L755 S5282 64bit.
Previously, I had ubuntu and Windows 7 on this laptop. I needed to get it back to fresh Windows 7 only. I put an iso on usb, booted from usb, ran the Windows installer, select custom, drive options, deleted all ubuntu partitions, extended and formatted windows partition, then ran fresh install. Everything seems fine, except I have no network adapter now. "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter". However, when I run troubleshoot, I see "Detected" but with a yellow triangle. But I can't find an icon or sign of it anywhere else. I was hoping it was just disabled, but it is enabled in bios? I have ethernet connected now, still nothing. I'm wondering if I install my router installation cd, if that would help? I'm trying to keep this as "fresh" as possible, because I'm selling it.
Is it possibly a setting somewhere, or do I have to download a network adapter, click and drag to desktop, then install?
