I check my email leave it on. I few minutes later I hear the music , then I have to enter my password again. It keeps doing that .It didn't used to .What is happening

certain things can change your power settings, which dictate things like how long till the PC logs itself off, goes to sleep, turns off the monitor, etc. open the start menu, type in "power options" open that dialog, then choose a plan and dive into the advanced settings to setup the PC to behave how you want.
