I don't know much about motherboards so heres a question. This Motherboard has 1 PCIE 3.0 16x slot and a PCIE 2.0 4x slot. Could you Crossfire 2 AMD GPUS on this Motherboard. Since there would be less performance on a 4x PCIE slot, how much of a performance hit would it have? Or is it not noticeable?
Thanks!

Solution
No, You have to have 2 of the same or similar cards.
You will need 2x PCIEx16 slots to use Crossfire.
If you can find 2 cards that run on PCIE you may be able to Crossfire them.
Only low end card run on PCIE though. Also, low end cards do not support Crossfire.

I read somewhere that Crossfire only needs a PCIE 2.0 4x slot, and SLI needs PCIE 3.0 8x minimum. Is this bad information I got?
