Hi
I was just working on a project related to 3g connectivity.

I have a 3g dongle inside a steel box. The 3g dongle does'nt seem to get the signals inside the box .

Dont we get 3G signals inside a stainless steel box?

Any solution for this, without replacing the steel box ?

Surrounded on all sides by a wall of SS , a wireless signal doesn't stand a chance.
Why a dongle that's supposed to be used externally has to be used inside any type of box I can't imagine.

Any signal booster inside the box might help ??

Or

Any other alternatives ??

You have to put the antenna at least on the outside. A metal box is excellent example of a faraday cage. These are used to block all radio signals. If the box is sealed well it will be close to 100% blocking, nothing get in or out.
