Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows what the cause could be. I will be using my computer normally and all of a sudden the screen goes blank and the computer makes the "disconnect" sound like you just pulled a usb device out. The screen then comes back on but is set to 1024x768. I can then put it back to 1920x1080, but it is irritating, especially since I have it set up in the living room, hooked up tv and often watching netflix. Any ideas what this issue could be?
System:
Win 7 Ultimate
motherboard: GA-990FXA-UD7
cpu: phenom II 965 BE
ram: 8gb gskill ddr3 1600
video: GT 240 512mb gddr5
Everything is running at stock speeds, Any help would be much appreciated
