Please guide me on which motherboard to choose.

I have

*Intel i7 4770K
*4X8gb ram 1600
*wifi and Bluetooth a must
*Will do 3d Gaming. Want to buy one powerful GPU now and buy the second later.
*I will buy a 144hz monitor (dont know if that makes difference)
* I want to connect my 3d monitor to this pc and a send wireless hdmi to my hdtv
*I can spend 300-350 (even 400 if it is what I need)

Please ask me if I need to provide more information. This wil be my first build and I want to make sure I am doing everything correct. I was looking at the Asus Maximus extreme but I dont want to pay for a card when I will not use all its features.

Yes! I strongly belive that motherboards like the Extreme are dedicated to High End Build, so I mean: 4 GPUS, 32GB RAM, 3 monitors for 3D, Core i7 Extreme and stuff like that... Because this motherboards are designed to be more power efficient and dedicate to overclock and stuff, just like the LPC (lpc.pcgamer.com).

And I showed you a video of a guy using 5 monitors, and using a Saberbooth MB. What it means? It means that this motherboard can carry on.
I went to Asus website and used the tool Compare on a Z87-Pro and the Maximus VI Extreme, both support 4-way SLI or CrossFire using PCIe 3.0/2.0 16x (the lastest bandwith), both have Bluetooth V4.0 and V3.0+HS, the same audio card, same chipset (the central unit of memory RAM, usb...

Will any of these motherboards you suggested have wifi and bluetooth?
Will they all support 3d gaming and also be able to transmit hdmi video to at least one more tv?

Asus Maximus Extreme is not necessary. You will do fine with a Maximus VI Impact.
Here: http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Intel_Platform_Products/, use the filters: Socket 1150, Z87 and Wi-fi.
I checked each motherboard, one by one, and all of them are great! Even this guys used a simple "Saberbooth" with 5 4k monitors!

This Maximus Extreme is too much because of this: http://lpc.pcgamer.com/
If you do not have a build like this, you don't need all this power!

No I will not have multiple monitors but I want to do high def 3d gaming and want to be able to play in highest settings.
I know that more depends on the gpu but does the motherboard have anything to do with this?
So as far as wireless hdmi video transmiting and 3d gaming and wifi/bluetooth, I wouldnt need an extreme?

personally I see it as a waste to overspend on these parts to this degree since a 1800 and 900 dollar pc build will probably perform similar and be outdated soon. I think since youve already gone this far, go for a nice motherboard to compliment everything.

I think I am going for the extreme.
I probably dont need it but I know myself, I will lose sleep if i dont get the one I really want, even though it is not a necessity.

Now which GPU would make this baby look even sexier?
I bought all these good components.. dont want to settle for an average GPU.
If you had one choice, which would it be?

What is the point on getting an Extreme if you can't use all the features at it max?
With 300 bucks, buy a Asus Z87-Pro (V Edition), save 200+ bucks and upgrade your GPU. Totally worth.

is the price difference really over 200 bucks between 2 motherboards? I thought it would be like $100 bucks.

So what exactly would I be missing out on if I were to go with z87 pro?
Is there any difference in performance or is it strictly additional features I am losing on?
You make it sound like every body in the world is overpaying for the extreme. :)
I really want to know the difference..

The main difference is that the Extreme has a OC Panel.

If you save 200 bucks and were thinking to buy a, lets say..., GetForce GTX780, you can split 200 in 2, and upgrade to the next GPU: GTX780 Ti (100 for each GPU if you want it dual).


Edit:
You already have a lot of memory RAM, a high performance CPU. All you need is a good GPU, and even Crysis 3 will run smooth on 3D.

i want to make sure i am looking at the right items.
but what u say makes complete sense. i might buy a 200 dollar motherboard and buy a 500 dollar gpu. was thinking of spending 300-400 on a motherboards and 300-400 on gpu.

Now I have an oppurtunity to buy Asus Extreme for $285 brand new.
Someone I know is selling it to me, he accepted my offer.
Shoudl I pull the trigger or save the $85 dollars towards GPU?

No, you are right.
I will buy 2400 ram for sure but will start with 2 x 8 and buy the other two sticks later as needed.
I dont want to miss out on this extreme for 100 bucks below retail. :(
