I would like some opinions how to increase my in game frame rate, I only play World of Tanks.
Obliviously a graphics card would be the best way but I want to rule that out for now.

So which of the following, if any, would have any positive effect on my FPS (2+ at least)

1. replacing my pc3-12800 CL 11 memory with pc3-12800 CL 9 memory OR

replacing my pc3-12800 CL 11 memory with pc3-14900 CL 10 memory

2. upgrading from 8GB memory to 16GB of memory

3. replacing my 5400rpm hard drive with a Samsung EVO SSD

Laptops have little upgrade-ability. There is no way to really increase performance save for software tweaks. Upgrading your ram sure if you want to spend some money will help in the slightest form. I'd say save whatever money and work towards a new laptop or building a solid desktop pc.

Using an SSD will improve load times significantly. Upgrading RAM to 9 CL will also improve loading and give some fps, but slightly. You don't need more than 8GB RAM for gaming, 16GB is overkill.

My current GPU is Intel integrated graphics 4400, CPU is i7-4500u. Currently I play on high settings and get 28 fps average. By bandwidth assume you are referring to my internet, it is .5Mbs; fastest available in my area.

So pc3-12800 CL 9 memory would be better than pc3-14900 CL 10 memory?

Stay with your current RAM, 8GB is plenty for gaming. Your limiting factor is your integrated graphics. Save the money you are looking to spend now and invest in a dedicated video card later, like the GTX 760 (I run 2 of them and pump out a consistent 80-100+ FPS with everything maxed on World of Tanks). That's the only way you'll significantly improve your FPS.

Reason one, I think it would be difficult because I'm using a laptop.
Reason two, I was trying to do an upgrade that that would speed up my whole system, not just gaming.

What GPU would you recommend for a laptop?
