Both of your Egg links are dead ends. But that's really not relevant. Since you have an HP OEM PC, have you gone on their tech support forums and found out if the latest BIOS update for that chipset would work with your GPU? Your BIOS rev is two years old. I'd assume it's out of warranty, but they should still offer basic forum support and someone should give advice there. I've been upgrading OEM PCs since the 90s (Intel chipsets though, never AMD) with hardware particularly with video cards and never had issues ensuring the latest BIOS updates are compatible with said upgrades. I'd assume it is the same with AMD builds.

Don't give up until you exhaust all avenues! Good luck!

but now programs are taking longer to load up then they used to and i dont know why :( the graphics are there i can run games with no lag but to like load up google chrome and little things like that they take much longer to load..

How long do the programs take to load? The first time you launch a program will always be slower unless you have an SSD. After that windows preloads the program and it launches faster afterwards.
