I'll try to keep it simple. The power supply is an Ultra LSP 550w psu.

My specs:
AMD FX-6300
R9 270 oc edition
8 gb ddr3 1600 (2x4gb)
2 120mm case fans
2 90mm cpu fans
2 hdds
1 optical drive

Is it enough?
Thanks
-Matt :)

It's not a quality power supply , get this one made by SEASONIC.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $59.99
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Note: The ULTRA LSP 550 watt only has 30 amps on the 12v rail and is a very poorly made unreliable power supply.

Absolutely. I'm not familiar with that PS brand and the quality rating for efficiency (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.), but the wattage rating at 550 and your other hardware will be plenty for a 550W PS.

Edit: I see a mod answered too. He is correct. Don't go cheap on a PS. It's the heart of your system. You will be much better off spending the extra bucks on a better quality brand (Seasonic, XFX & Corsair...which use Seasonic parts). You will also save money on power draw at the wall long term with a higher quality (efficiency rating 80+) power supply.

Oh yeah, second question:
Will 550w be enough? I'm pretty sure it will as pcpartpicker said my system was ~400w, and a cooler master calculator said ~430. I think it will in this case, but I just wanted to double check. Thanks!

With 45 amps on the 12v rail this power supply is more than enough for your specs , it will run a 770 with your specs.

So do you think I could go with a 500w? If so, it would be great if you could suggest one. Otherwise should I just go with the one you said in the first post?
