when turn on it says that (SPD) Unavailable

I try and turn on my gateway 9300 and it a black screen saying SOD unavailable.. Can I get help

Usually this means that your memory is not compatible with your system.You may be able to enter the BIOS and disable SPD or try updating the BIOS, sometimes that will improve memory compatibility.
