I just bought a gtx 650 ti boost back in December, and I'm more than impressed with its performance. (snatched it up for $145) But I'm going to be upgrading again this summer, and I started making plans. I see other 650 ti boost's selling between $100 to$350 (new) on eBay, which is pretty much the only place I can find them available. I don't just want to put my card back in its box like I never used it when I upgrade and I plan to sli, but my question is should I buy another single card solution for around the price that a new ti boost will go for over summer, or is it fee sable to squeeze enough performance to beat a single card solution for near the same price.( since im upgrading Ill have a better case and a bigger psu, but I want to reuse as much as possible)

If you can get another GTX 650 Ti Boost for around $145, it'll be more bang for your buck than selling yours and going for a stronger card. Depending on the particular game, 650 Ti Boost SLI can perform between the GTX 760 and 770 levels, and getting a 760 would probably cost more overall. Just be sure to get adequate cooling for your cards if you go SLI, especially in the summer. If you need some case and PSU recommendations, let me know.

I will try looking for another 650 ti boost for around that price, but they are almost gone. I will be using the corsair graphite 230t orange, the two fans in the front will blow directly on both cards and the two top fans will act as exhaust, wile eventually moving to watercooling to keep temps down using gtx 660 blocks and putting rads on the fan mounts in the front and top. I also plan to use a corsair 700 watt psu.

That's a pretty good case, and Corsair makes great PSUs. I'd say you are set until your next upgrade cycle. If you're interested in watercooling, Swiftech will be releasing a new watercooling kit called the H220X. It's got a very interesting CPU Block, and the pump is easily strong enough expand later on. It will retail for about $149, and I'd say that's a pretty good price for what you're getting. But a 240mm radiator probably won't fit into the top of your 230T without hitting the motherboard, so I'd recommend looking into spacing more carefully or consider a different case if you want to watercool.

Im still looking for upgrades, mainly a 650 ti boost that isnt out of stock or over $250. But I can either change the case or mount the fans outside the case if I have to to get it to fit.

I've seen people do that, mounting their fans outside of the case. It's definitely a viable option if you don't mind the looks of it. The prices of the 650 Boost are looking strange, as if people are mining crypto currency with them. If you can't find one for a decent price, you could probably easily sell yours for around the money you paid for it, and just get a GTX 760. The ASUS DirectCU II 760 is on sale right now at NCIX.us for $239.

I don't think two 650 Ti boost cards in SLI is such a great idea, First: You won't be able to find a 650 Ti boost for sale anymore unless it is used, And it's never a good idea to take a chance on used hardware. Second: Not all games will work with SLI, So there is no guarantee you will benefit from SLI most of the time. Third SLI can have many problems. Your best bet would be to get a GTX 760 if you have the money, If you don't have the money for the 760, There is a nice Gigabyte GTX 660 here for $179.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125508&cm_re=GTX_660-_-14-125-508-_-Product, And for $159.99 You can also get a Power Color R9 270 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131545&cm_re=R9_270-_-14-131-545-_-Product

The R9 270 has better performance than the 660, But the 660 has the better drivers, The 660 will beat the 650 Ti boost by a good margin. The R9 270 performs closer to the GTX 760, So Either choice here is a winner. I hope this helps.
