Hello!

I have taken some time to plan out my gaming build. My current PC is only for office and home use. I do intend to use this build for Video editing as i am involved in content creation and my current PC just isn't enough.

Some games I intend to play (in priority order) :
Minecraft (I'm aware this game is more CPU intensive, but some graphics power is required), Microsoft Simulator Series, Wargame, Dirt 3, FPS games aren't so high up on my list.

For my setup, I plan on setting up two monitors (Asus VS239h-p - Due to my budget) ,
Also For peripherals: Keyboard- Logitech g510s , Mouse- Logitech g602 , Headphones - Plantronics Rig , Speakers- Logitech Z506

Please have a look at my list of parts, and tell me whether that extra $$$ contributes to performance, where i can cut down.

Most (ALL) of my parts will be purchased from Amazon.com ,
I have heard about Amazon not handling hard-drives properly. I think I'll buy hard drives locally

I WILL NOT BE OVERCLOCKING

I live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Also I would like to know whether the ram i have chosen is optimum, or should I go for the regular high heat spreaders. Also which CAS Latency do i need to go for.

Also when parts are suggested, if possible look for red or black or red & black colors, for personal preference

Please do help me in making my decision for these parts.

Thank You,
Blaze

Based on what you've said the build is fine, I would kick up to 1866/9 on the DRAM or 1866/8 (look at the GSkill TRident X (red) or Snipers (black), the 212 EVO will be fine with it (the fan height is adjustable)

Which one would you choose in this list?

Also can the Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H Handle 1866?? I read it can only handle 1600

I dont think the Trident X series has 1866 the min is 2400 , What do you think about Ripjaws vs Snipers??

Are you confident that G.Skill would be better for this build than Corsair??

Do you really think I need a 770?? For the games I'm goin to be playing?
The money i save here will be put into buying peripherals.

What about the SSD? should i get a Samsung 840 evo?? or should i stay with the SSD Now?
