Motherboard gives 1 usual short beep, but monitor doesn't show any signs of life.
Tried with PS3 - same thing, boots properly, but monitor doesn't turn on. Just yesterday evening everything was working fine.
All cables look undamaged and I re-plugged them in again. Only 1 power button, to which monitor doesn't react. Monitor is Acer S235HLbii had it for about 2 years, not even a burnt pixel.

Is it plugged into the wall outlet and into the monitor? Did you press the power button. Switch the power outlet you are connecting it to.

Course I pressed the power button. Everything is plugged into the wall outlet through a pilot.

I'm sure it's not the outlet, because the PC and console are on it too and they work fine. Also checked the power adaptor. No light on it too. As if the wire just died suddenly.

If you have cats they might have nibbled on it.

I have a ferret, but she has no interest towards cables and the one in question has no signs of damage. Or do you mean? Oh no. That little.... Here's hoping these things are sold separately.
