I have a kingston 1333 and one corsair 1333. I have issue like having black screen when I boot up but the problem is there is no display showing yes the pc is working but its just the display. And in the other night My boot is stuck at the windows animation logo and yep I put my RAM back again. I uninstalled my AVAST because of having problems in safe mode like nvrmts. something.
Is it ok to have different RAM brand?

Try raising the DRAM voltage + 0.06 with the sticks and let us know the CPU and mobo, may want to kick up the MC voltage a bit also to stabilize
