I'm definitely going push/pull...

But what i want to know is should i leave stock fans in push and have my new corsair sp120 performance 120mm fans as pull? Or should i change the stock fans out and have 4 x sp120 in push/pull?

It's just i've heard the stock corsair h100 fans are extremely hard to beat in performance....

cheers guys

I have no clue where or who gave you that information. The h100 fans are based on their sp fans. but they are not quite as good. If you want good radiator fans get pressure optimized fans. I personally use noctuas. They probably push and pull the most air out of all of the fans that I have had, and I have a 2x3 box full of different fans. even at the lowest settings they still move ridiculous amounts of air they are about 3 dollars more than the ones from corsair but they are worth it the video showing them up against the stock can be found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u6KPzTE3rU You can look at the specifications here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The stock h100 fans have 11 static pressure though.....and i thought that's what you wanted with radiators? Good Static pressure? The only problem i thought was the fans are a bit noisy but still outperform most fans on the market in terms of static pressure.....

and the static pressure of the noctua you linked are half the static of the corsair sp120....

I tested some fans out myself. I replaced those two SP120's with a cougar vortex and a silverstone AP. I even have a Noctua, but it's not as good as the others. I don't think it is designed to perform while laying flat. I think it needs to be vertical.

So you didn't like the sp120 performance ones???

Nope. I tested one out with my Hyper 212 EVO and it was the worst performing one.

Worst performing as in not cooling as well or too noisy?? A hyper 212 evo is a little bit different to a radiator..all depends on FPI too i believe. Anyone else for anything???

Didn't cool as well as other fans with the hyper 212 EVO. Yes i know the 212 is a bit different radiator, but performance is performance. It didn't cool as well because it didn't blow air through it as well. You want high static pressure for your fans that are cooling radiators. Also they were noisy.

I recommend getting two Cougar Vortex. Better cooling, whisper quiet. Hate to advertise, but they're on sale w/ a promo code on newegg, so they're about $9. Makes me wish I had bought them now isntead of last week.

Hm... still, my Cougar Vortex outperformed it with the Hyper 212 EVO.

Maybe I will put the 2 stop SP fans in there and run some tests to see which is better. Thanks for the idea.

And can you link me the page for the specifications of the stock H100 fans? i can't find it.
