Building a computer and I want to be sure!

So I'm going to build my own PC and I just want to be sure if these components will fit/work with each other, so i got 2 ideas on some builds...

Number 1:

So here's the components I'm going to use:

Case: Corsair
Obsidian 750d

Power Supply:
Corsair CX 750w (modular)

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P, Socket-AM3+

CPU:
AMD FX-6300 Black Edition

RAM:
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9

Graphics card:
MSI R9 270X 4GB

Hard drive:
WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue

Optical drive:
LiteOn iHAS124 - DVD±RW - Serial ATA

Fans:
(2x) 120mm fans

And a fan adapter.


Number 2:

Case:
Corsair Obsidian 350d

Power supply:
Corsair CX 750w (modular)

Motherboard:
MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Socket FM2

CPU:
AMD a86600k black edition socket fm2

RAM:
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9

Graphics card:
MSI R9 270X 4GB

Hard drive:
WD 1TB 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive - Caviar Blue

Optical drive:
LiteOn iHAS124 - DVD±RW - Serial ATA

Fans:
(2x) 120mm fans

And a fan adapter.

I don't see any compatibility issues with either build, but if you already know you're going with a discrete graphics card, why would you consider an AMD APU build? Go with the first build.
