Hello forum!

I recently bought "Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 128bit" and I was thinking of buying three 22 inch monitors and set them up so all three show one display

Here is an example of my idea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6Bj1-EP30E (@around 0:40 secs)

And here is a link to my graphic card: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/produc...

Also i have only 500W power supply, but It's old and I'll buy a new one pretty soon, anyways. You can check my rig on my profile if you need to.

Thanks, have a nice day! :)

Here is my rig:
Motherboard: ASUS H81M-K
Processor: Intel Celeron G1820 2.7GHZ L3 2MB
Graphic Card: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 128bit
RAM: Kingston HyperXblu 4GB 1600MHz

More about : set monitors sapphire radeon 5750

Best solution

yes you will be able to run 3 displays at the same time through your card....

hook 2 displays to your dvi port and use the do to hook up your primary display

Use your own link and click on "System Requirements":
"To support 3 displays, one of the monitors has to support DisplayPort."

So i need to buy a monitor that supports DisplayPort, right? I don't have to buy another graphics card or buy new one?

ok....that means you have 1 each dvi, hdmi and display port.

in that case too you will be able to run three monitors....just ensure that the monitors you purchase has support for dvi hdmi and dp.

you can also try daisy chaining 2 monitors to your display port

Right! Two DVI-D and one DP. But the HD 5750 might be a little weak for demanding games on three monitors.

You don't have to buy a Display Port capable monitor. You could purchase a Display Port to DVI adapter. There are Passive and Active adapters. You would want an Active adapter to properly show all 3 monitors using DVI, DVI & DP (Display Port). The HDMI port is a nice feature for the card, but most cables have connectors that get in the way of the DVI or Display port on either side, so just Don't use the HDMI port.

Active Display Port adapters allow the Eyefinity software to work with more than 2 monitors. If you get a Passive Display Port to DVI adapter, it may still not work properly. I've been using the Saphire Active Display Port adapters for a long time and they work great. Some of my company setups require 6 monitors. The Saphire Active adapters have been very relible.

Im planing to use it more for films and anime, and less for games (maybe some older need for speed, dirt 2, etc..

since your card had only one each dp, dvi and hdmi port you will need to buy either a display port to dual dvi adapter or get at least 1 hdmi capable monitor.

or you can go for a all hdmi monitor setup with something like this:

I'll go for DVI. I never tried HDMI and my monitor is VGA so its kinda crappy, but i'll buy 3 new ones. Still cheaper solution than buying 3 monitors with display port. ;)
