So basically in the next month or so I'm looking to switch from console to pc, whilst I know a little bit about pc parts being new and all I thought maybe someone with more experience could advise me.

Build specs:
i7 4820k extreme CPU
Asus Maximus vi hero c2 motherboard
Asus GTX 770 graphics card
Kingston 16GB XMP beast series
WD caviar black 2TB HDD
Samsung 840 Evo SSD
Corsair 750w PSU
Corsair Carbide 300R case
Cooler master hyper 212 Evo CPU fan
Asus DVD drive
2x Corsair Af120 fans
Windows 8.1

The questions I have are:
1. Are these parts compatible with each other?
2. Would you recommend changing any parts?
3. How well will games perform on this? (e.g Planetside 2, Dota 2, DayZ, Arma 3, Rust, Nether, Tf2, etc.)
4. Is this build worth the money for £1200?
5. Would you advise building it myself or buying it prebuilt? (Keep in mind I have never built a pc before)

P.s. Sorry if I missed anything.

1 no CPU is different socket than the motherboard suggest I7 4770K instead!
2 Done apart if for gaming 2.4 GB ram is enough
3 with GTX770 very well at 1080p resolution
4 yes
5 Build self, plenty of guides on the web even one in our system section.
