Hello fellow humans!

I have this issue that every time I install Win 8.1, the nav/sidebar (shows when pointing your mouse at the top right corner of the screen) in my main monitor is WAY bigger than on my 2nd monitor.
I therefore want to know if there is a feature to resize this on one screen? I have already resized everything else through the personalisation -> display area.

I hope to get some help...

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Patrick!

I finally found the problem. If you go to "Search" in the slide bar (which i have just found out it's actually called a charms bar) and type in PC SETTINGS and choose that icon. then from in there under DISPLAY you can change the size of the charms bar to smaller under more options. :D

Yes, 1920x1080 on both monitors. It's also identical monitors. I've had this issue the last 3 times I've been formatting my PC. The first time I installed Windows 8, the issue wasn't there. I've been looking into it for a while but I can't seem to find a fix myself, therefore hoping some of you might be able to help.
It's ONLY the side/navbar that's different. Everything else is the same (icons, taskbar etc).

Thanks :)

Two Prosonic TV monitors. They are not offscale if that's what you mean. The "error" is in Windows 8.
On my left monitor (secondary) the nav/sidebar is the size I want.
However on my right monitor (primary) the nav/sidebar is quite big and clumpsy looking.

I just want to know where, inside Windows 8, this can be changed.

Thank you :)

I too am having the same problem. Since installing the 8.1 update my side bar is huge and i used to be able to have all my apps displayed on the one page but now they scroll over 3.. My resolution is 1920 x 1080. Its an alienware 14 R2 laptop. I even tried changing the size of all items to small but it doesn't chang the size of the sidebar at all.
