Your system is bad ass. I don't see anything wrong with it, an i5 would do just as well as an i7 in terms of gaming and 8GB RAM is just plenty for a gaming system.
You have a badass card and having a mechanical hard drive won't increase performance of the games, just make loading the game up faster.

Well, I would change the memory speed to 1866, you won't see any higher performance than that in gaming.
Change the PSU to an AX series, it is Corsair's best line of PSUs. Everything else is fine.

Hi,
Get another PSU, Corsair's RM units are not that great. One of their RM units , i believe it was the 750w version, it was the first Corsair PSU to completely fail on every test. The Corsair RM Series uses CapXxon capacitors for the secondary capacitors. The capacitors are low quality, which is a no-no, especially for a high end PSU. Better get AX unit.
From all the Z87 motherboards that Asus makes, the Z87-K is the worst, it had many problems and it doesn't overclock very well. It has only Crossfire support and not SLI, and than again the Crossfire support is at X4 mode, which is not what you want with high end GPU like the R9 290
Also as other members mentioned, you will not notice the difference between 2133Mhz and 1600Mhz speeds. Get cheaper 1600Mhz RAM, or 1866Mhz because Haswells do like the 1866Mhz speed
