i3 3210 for 720p gaming

Planning to buy new PC

I will be playing all demanding games at 720p high settings
(Single player, no multiplayer )
Can an i3 3210 suffice my needs up to 2015
Will anyone still sell i5 or i7 LGA 1155 processor after 2015
Or should I get a haswell build now??

Go 720 with a Core i3 3210 and a GeForce GTX 750 Ti! Take a look: http://www.hardwarepal.com/battlefield-4-benchmark-mp-cpu-gpu-w7-vs-w8-1/4/
Even at higher resolution a i3 will be fine with that GPU.

i3s are not as bad as people think. My lil Bro used an i3 2120 for a long time with a HD7850 @ 1080p and then with a GTX660ti @ 1080p and it did perfectly fine. It would be more than enough for 720p.

I do recommend trying to get Haswell though for the best upgrade path.
