Sleep Mode suddenly came to life

Okay, my computer has always had the sleep, hibernate, etc turned off. My Avast Premiere updated it's program two days ago and now my computer goes to sleep after an hour of no use or reboots itself early in the AM. I no longer have Avast Premiere because it's reset a bunch of my network settings and... well, it's gone. But now it's doing this sleep and restarting thing.

My sleep and hibernating settings are still set on never. I'm looking in the tasks and scheduling and stuff has been initiated that have been turned off in the past.

My computer has worked flawlessly for 2.5 years. It's maintained with periodic cleanups, scans, etc. I'm turning into an unhappy camper. On the mend, but still trying to find out what the heck is happening when settings are already in place to stop what's happening from happening.

Solution
Solved! Turned out the program update to my Avast! Premiere turned on my task scheduler (been off forever!) and added several tasks (35+). One overrides the sleep mode set to never. It tells the system to restart after running tasks and to go to sleep after 30 minutes.

I still don't understand why it would go to sleep since the setting is NEVER, but it does. I removed Avast! Premier and turned off Task Scheduler. Installed Avast Free Antivirus. Everything back to normal.

Avast has denied that their new program update would do that, but it did. There is absolutely no other reason. No programs other than the new Avast update were installed. PC is (and has been) malware and virus free for ages. All they have done is lose a paying customer.
