i founded a lot of people said that don't get intel haswell on google....they said only slightly better than fx 8350 & more expensive & also less headroom overclocking....many overclocking intel haswell got unstable....is that true??

I would consider two tasks: multitasking. I'm sure RAM would play a bigger part in several Firefox tabs, but who's to say he won't end up running other programs alongside his games like Skype, or another game?

And wait, nobody asked what games he'll be playing. Which ones? That'll decide how much you should even be spending. Which does he care more about? Gaming performance or more tabs and programs running at once? If it's about 50/50 then either CPU will suffice.

I dont know about that its luck of the draw with overclocking some go higher than others . I would take a haswell over fx 8350 personally. They both have there strengths and weaknesses. I will admit that the fx is better value for money. But i like intel there sockets are better i find them to be more reliable as well especially when overclocked.

I should have been clearer. I mean get which is cheapest between those 2 because the performance isn't that different.

General multitasking -> FX 8350 (more physical cores)
Gaming -> i5/i7 (better single threaded performance)

Multitasking might actually be just a bit close for both, but in heavier multitasking situations I can see the FX 8350 being ahead of the i7. Just my $.02

Having firefox open while in a game is not multitasking.
Another 2 cents.
