Can this CPU handle latest generation games of 2014 without external GPU , like The Wolf Among Us: Episode 3, Thief, Rivals, etc etc

minimal, good call on memory. If you'd get another exact stick and make 16 gb im sure it will help, as it will give the cpu part of your apu more memory to access. But yea minimal, maybe medium

If you want to game, do it right and get a CPU with a dedicated GPU. For $10 more than what a 7700k setup would cost, you could go with a Haswell Pentium G 3420 and an R7 250x or HD 7770.
