Missing Drivers on Laptop

Hello!

I have recently changed the hard drive my laptop and after many weeks it was still missing a few drivers. I am still missing the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller driver. I'm guessing this is very important because 2 my 3 usb ports aren't working.

I have a Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5209

Also if this I can ask two questions, the function keys don't work. What is mean is that the brightness buttons and most of the other ones don't work.

Go to your contol panel...Then hardware then look for the drivers that have a caution triangle over them. Then install the drivers.

If you are talking about the device manager and installing the driver by trying to update the driver with the caution triangle over it, I have already tried that. I clicked both options for for updating and it says that the driver could not be found. I really need to find this driver so I can actually use USB devices on my laptop.

I have visited this website and could not figure out which driver it is. I can't find the driver with that name.

Also sorry for the confusion my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5209 not a C655D.
I have looked at the driver page but could not figure out the driver that contains the usb driver.

i have tried all of the usb drivers but still no luck. Can someone direct me to the driver for the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller? I need my usb drivers.

I tried updating the drivers but windows was not able to find the driver. Also the troubleshoot just leads me back to the link to find the drivers. It's weird because the USB port on the left works yet the USB ports on the right side (including the USB 3.0) do not work at all. One of them makes the two-tone beep when you plug in the device but it does not do anything after that.

Help?

then you have a issue with the motherboard connector on the laptop if it stil under warranty ask for a repair or exchange .

Ok so I accidentally stumbled upon the right driver. It was called the AMD xHC Driver. This was the fix because it installed the USB 3.0 driver. After installing this driver everything works perfectly.
