1000$ CAD Gaming PC Build

Solution
The $1000 budget is so much a tossup, since #1an i7 for rendering/cad is more comparable to the fx but budget doesnt let an i7, #2 the amd guarentees a 770 while the i5 typically leaves a 760 which is: 'do you want ultra/high graphics (770), or do you want high/medium graphics (760)."

If at $1500 its normally amd gives you 780ti, and i5/7 gives you a 780. so then its like: "do you want ultra graphics (780ti), or do you want ultra graphics (780). So not much of the difference there.

I'd go amd route. I read the first link and imediately thought "for cad you'd be better off with an 8350 which would save enough for a 770, plus gaming the i5vsfx wont be noticable except the fx will have a 770 which will be noticable. Plus with rendering, the 8 cores will help, and the extra cuda cores on the 770 will also help.
