I am building a computer for my friend who wants to play bioshock, titanfall and Shogun 2 : total war and other games and before getting him to buy the components I thought I would check with everybody to see if i was making any serious mistakes.

i5 4670
ASUS Direct CU II GTX 760
Corsair low profile 8gb RAM 1333mhz
Gigabyte B85M-HD3 motherboard
Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue
Corsair CX 500 Watt
Antec One Midi Tower Case
Windows 7

I have looked up the performance of these parts and they seem to have the correct performance. However I can be forgetful so I would like to confirm whether I have forgotten anything vital or not. My friend has access to ethernet so a wifi card is not required. Thanks

the cx 500 is a poor quality psu i would get the tx series or better. That motherboard isent very good either i would save up more and get a gigabyte asrock or asus mobo for around 100 if you want it to last. That gpu will run those games fine but to max out titanfall you will need a 770.

I have to disagree with that. The motherboard is fine as long as he doesn't plan to overclock.

The PSU itself is low quality compared to Corsair's others, but it still has a very low fail rate.

Thanks for the quick response. And no we have no intention of overclocking. We don't want to spend more than £600.
