My gateway freezes up What is the problem?? The hole screen stop working with lines going through the screen, then turns blue, error. I have been told it is my video card, take it in told nothing wrong. Works for two weeks and dose it all over again. This is the third time this has happen. Now the screen slow black then can' read C D and then nothing but 000000000s
I have a gateway sx 2800 thats freezes up with lines acrosse the screen. Whay is the prpblem????

Remove the graphic card and see if it gives display. What are the specifications of the system? Card name? Take out all the Ram's and try one ram at a time to see if it works.
