Hello I was looking on multiple different sites for a few months now and I think I have decided to go with CyberPower PC. Here are the specs.

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-4670K 3.40 GHz 6MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1150 (All Venom OC Certified)

HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)

MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1866MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance)

MOTHERBOARD: ASRock Z87 Pro4 ATX w/ XFast Technology, GbLAN, 2 Gen3 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 2 PCI [+28]

SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO

VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+124] (EVGA Superclocked [+18])

Total Cost= $1019.00

I was wondering if this computer would be good for playing games such as Battlefield 4, Arma 3 and World of Warcraft. Please respond because it would help tremendously.

Thanks.

I personally have not heard anything good about Cyberpower and usually warn people away from them. I moderate on another board and we have had a lot come in over the years with complaints about them. The Computers didn't work, stuff that was supposed to be shipped wasn't. Support was terrible and trying to get a non working computer working. There are some good ones out there such as iBUyPower and Digital Storm. Xidax may be okay, but I wasn't too sure of some of the stuff they used such as a proprietary PSU. The rig you have listed has good specs though.

Hi,

The CPU, RAM and HDD look decent, not sure about the rest, especially the GPU. You didn't list the PSU, so I can't really comment on that. Now, if you're happy playing games on low to medium settings, then this system might be fine for you.

Are you not interested in building a system yourself? I believe you could build a much better rig yourself for that money, if not even less. If you're uncomfortable doing this yourself, then a pre-built rig is the way to go.

Keep an eye out on your thread, they'll be others to respond soon with some helpful advice.

Good luck with your decision and do let us know what you decide on.

CyberPowerPc is a decent boutique builder if you avoid their "standard PSU's" which are branded as XtremeGear and should be avoided at all costs. The rest of their lineup consists of the same products you would buy for building your own. I would venture that most all of their complaints revolve around the "standard PSU". A search for "XtremeGear PSU" may be enlightening. Also, you don't need to pay them to set any overclocks (graphics or CPU) as those are rather easy to change yourself (especially graphics)

FYI iBuyPower suffers from the same (although a different brand of PSU) issue with their "standard" PSU's
