This design will allow you to easily play any game on "Ultra" setting with 60+ fps. You will also have to ability to get a very good overclock from it.

The wait for an Intel 8 core will be over when the Haswell-E CPUs are released later on in the year. I've been considering getting what will be the i7-5930k. I just can't see shelling out an additional 500.00 for the i7-5960x.

But oh how that will change in a few months. :D  With the release of Haswell-E CPU's sometime shortly after June, Intel comes crashing into the 8 core arena in the form of the i7-5930k and i7-5960x. I've never shelled out the money to have an "Extreme" series CPU, but I'm thinking that this one may be worth it. Not only will there be 8 cores, but it will also be the first CPU to support DDR4 memory. I'm looking forward to a benchmark score, as I have not yet been able to find one online or anywhere else.

Not really sure how you can talk like that considering your one the people that brought a 4770k.

My 4770k was only just over 300 dollars. A top-end "Extreme" series CPU costs over 1,000.00 dollars. Big difference there! LOL

I just dont get why people just go the for the 4000 series its like they see a bigger number and just jump on the band wagon.
you can easilly get a low end 3000 series for maybe 150 more and have double if not more than that performance

are you talking about extreme edition series intel because they DO cost 1k$ +. If you are talking about ivy bridge I would understand that they are better for overclocking.

Well its not even just that alot of people just jump on the intel and nvidia bandwagon n just say oh yh that will make a beast pc when it all depends on the what the use will be. srry me having more of a rage than anything as ive been on a amd and nvidia setup for the past year and never had a single problem with 60+ fps on lastest games.
