Hi,

I have a ASUS 780 Ti which has developed a problem with it's fans and am returning it. It's out of stock at the retailer now so I've chosen an EVGA 780 Ti. Do I need to unistall and re-install the drivers, or as it's the same card can I just plug the new card in?

If you installed nvidia drivers you shouldnt have to reinstall anything.
If you installed manufacturer proprietary software you may have to uninstall that.

I only installed Nvidia drivers that GeForce Experience detected. I didn't install any ASUS Software.

Then you should be fine.
If there is any problem you can always uninstall/reinstall nvidia drivers.
