I am currently using a SSD an HD with the SSD managing the OS and the HD being used for storage. I am upgrading my MB and CPU and I want to add a larger SSD. Any advantage to keeping the HD other than storage? My fear is that the HD might slow down a new system I am trying to make more efficient but I am not a pro at this and want to be sure I am not screwing things up

HDD is perfect for massive storage . SSD just brings out faster data R.W rates . . not effect on gaming . just accessing and execution of process will be faster which are residing on SSD
