Asus gtx 770 direcct cuII OC not detected at all

hi i have recently bought an asus gtx 770 i installed it in my system and it worked for about 40 minuets and then failed. when i rebooted it was a struggle to get back onto windows. in device manager the card was shown as not working correctly after hours of research i ended up using gpuz to asses my gpu. the gpu does not have a bios and couldn't flash it as it now not recognized by windows at all

please help!

my system is

msi z87 gd65
i7 4770k
corsair vengance 8gb ram
corsair cx600 psu

Can you go get to the bios and use onboard video for the time get your drivers updates and such than shutdown put GPU in and install and update after switcg ing off onboard

i am currently using the onboard now, all drivers are updated but the gpu still remains undetected by windows i have also updated my bios ect and still nothing from the card

Have latest BIOS? If so might try resetting the CMOS, ensure card is fully seated, power cords attached firmly (might even try different PCI-E power cables to the GPU, make sure both 24 and 4/8 mobo power cables attached firmly

Are fans powering up? Is it fully seated and are all the power connectors in properly especially if using 6+2 pin those can be tricky as they have to live.e up or they won't snap in

the card has 2 power indicators that are red when no power is provided and green when there is both are green and the fans are spinning nicely (the only thing that seems to work right now) its seated correctly and locked so are ther power connectors, i have a dual screen setup the dvi is currently plugged into the card and another in my onboard tried resetting cmos a few times today and no luck

Can you grab another older card plug it in and see if it displays?

Try with the onboard only and see if you can get to BIOS, if so, change primary graphics to PCI-3

i had a 550ti which was working fine however i have been doing that much trouble shooting in the last day or so (10 hours easy) @tradesman1 i dont actully no how to enable this setting in my uefi me and a friend have tried and are having no luck. after my attempts to trouble shoot my 550ti stopped working which i have no sold to a friend my onboard is working now for the time being i have also tried it in another system however is alot less powerfull then mine and nothing in that either

Might be a weak (or even failing PSU, the CX 600 isn't real strong, it only carries about 525 on the 12 volt rail and I look for something stronger, closer to 600 continuous
