Hey everyone just had a quick question.
Im planning on upgrading my rig with a fx 8320 OC, and a r9 270(x) which i will later crossfire.
I play on a 24" samsung 1080 p 60hz monitor.

I heard the difference between the 270 and 270x 2gb is basically a factory OC.
So when looking at the price difference 210 compared to 290 for me for a 270x 4gb, would i see a noticeable difference with the extra ram in CF mode?

Basically is it worth the 90$ for the extra ram in CF mode?

The extra ram on the 2nd card is not counted toward the total GPU ram. You will still have a 2gb Xfire'd 270 when done.

I am aware of this. My question is, is the extra money well spent if i crossfire 2 r9 270x 4gb vs 2 r9 270 2gb, given my setup / monitor. the best price i found was 200 range for r9270 and 300 range for 4gb model. So it will cost 200 more for the 4gb version. Is this extra cost worth it and will the performance difference be noticeable when the 270's are OC.

There is no point in buying a 4gb card for R9 270 if your not running 6 monitors @ 1080p or 3 monitors at 4k. 2GB is more than enough.
