So i am looking to build a computer and I would like to have the option to overclock to about 5GHz

What mother board do you think i should get?

My specs:
intel Core i5 4670K
FSP Raider Edition 750W
XFX Radeon R9 280X Black Edition 3GB
GeIL 8GB Kit (2x4GB) DDR3 Black Dragon C11 1600MHz
WD Blue 1TB
Corsair Hydro Series H105 CPU Cooler Or Corsair Hydro Series H100i CPU Cooler (Which one)

That's very unlikely to happen.....I have twin water pumps and 700mm of radiators and, I though I did a bit better than average in the CPU lottery, I wouldn't even attempt anything over 4.6 Ghz (I see 1.48 volts under adaptive when AVX instructions are present). The silicon lottery is such that it's a very, very rare bird to get a chip that can do 4.8 Ghz..... not so much because of temps as it is because of voltage.

As for the H series coolers..... at 2700 rpm I can't be in the same room with one. If you must get an AIO cooler, the only Corsair one I;d look at is the H110. But frankly, I'd use a Phanteks PH-TC14-PE over any AIO because they are either too damn noisy or they just don't do anything better than the Phanteks.... (the Phanteks has about a 0.5C edge over the DH-14 and ya can see how the H110 compared w/ the H110 in the image below.

To "hear" what the h105 and 100i sound like....watch the video

I'd be leaving the room, when CPU usage hit 55%

As for MoBos..... ya didn't give a price range ....

$275 - $325 ish - Asus Maximus VI Formula
$225 - $275 ish - None
$175 - $225 ish - MSI GD65
$125 - $175 ish - MSI G45

The M6F is my personal build choice tho, I have held off building any more at present till the BIOS issue gets straightened out. Seems many folks (M6F, Gene and Hero threads abound) are unable to hit the same OCs they had with 0804 with anything since. Hoping it will be resolved soon.

In the next category down, I don't have any particular favs.....just don't see anything in there that doesn't push me down or up in the price scale

Moving down again, the GD65 is a killer board capturing reviewers attention the like of which I haven't seem since the original Sabertooth.

MSI has been using components that meet or exceed MIL-STD-810G for some time as part of its Military Class build philosophy. Parts such as Super Ferrite Chokes that run at up to 35 degree Celsius lower temperatures, have a 30% higher current handling capacity, and a 20% improvement in power efficiency; Tantalum filled Hi-C Caps that are are up to 93% efficient; and "Dark Capacitors" that feature Lower ESR and a ten-year lifespan all tied into a PCB with improved temperature and humidity protections as part of the "Military Essentials" package......In the end MSI's Z87-GD65 is a board that comes with an expansive feature set that includes all your basics and the extras that set them apart such as the V-Check points, upper end audio, Dual BIOS ROMs, KIller Network package, Military Class IV package, and a three-year warranty. Couple that with good looks that carry the dragon theme through the board, and you have a winning combination at $189.

Now and again a motherboard appears that is so obviously brilliant, and so affordable, that we wonder if anything will be able to top it. For a while that crown was held by the ASUS Sabertooth, both in X58 and then P67 variants. Then MSI stole the crown with the Z77 MPower. Looking at the Z87 GD65 Gaming we think it's going to take something extraordinary to top it, such is the perfect storm of price, performance, features and looks.

The switch to Military Class 4 has given us an extremely ready overclocker too. You're always thermally limited when overclocking and the i7-4770K is one of the most demanding around. Considering the amount of cooling we're using we think that although the GD65 is capable of bringing 5GHz from our i7-4770K you'd need a proper water loop to make the most of it.

Performance is outstanding. The stock results were a particular highlight. We know a lot of people still just like to put their CPU in and go, without overclocking it first. Despite how easy it is these days we know that the fear factor still exists. So you'll be glad to know that the MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming really rocks hard even at stock settings. Naturally the overclocking is blistering too, with some OC3D records broken.

MSI have laid the gauntlet down to all the other manufacturers. Gorgeous to look at, blistering performance and all at a very affordable price, the MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming is not only the new benchmark for Z87 motherboards, but probably for all motherboards.

The Asus Gene is a great board if size is an issue but if size doesn't matter, it suffers from the same drawback as the Hero in that it is a bit pricey compared to other offerings. At $25 less, they'd both make a lot more sense given what the competition matches or exceeds their feature set for significantly less money.

In the next price category, though not as full featured as the GD65, the one board that has drawn perhaps more praise from reviewers is the G45..... it easily the best board in its price category I have ever worked with.
