Wireless suddenly went slow and would detect as many signals

laptop was fine until recently i updated the drivers using driver booster from iorbit.
after that my laptop woudnt detect as many signals to connect to (only my router) and it was a very weak signal. now when i go about a floor higher the signal to my laptop becomes extremely low and speed drops considerably. this never happened before. i restored my computer but nothing changed. anything i can do?

use maleware byte and a virus sweep. most of those 3 party sites are virus sites. the only two safe places for wifi drivers are the laptop vendor or the wifi chipset vendor.

Tried it, do malware was detected, i might try reinstalling the drivers and see what happens.
