Hello, I would like to start with my system specs first :

CPU : AMD FX 8350 4.0GHz
Motherboard : Asus AM3+ Crosshair Formula V
Hard Drive : WD 640GB
RAM : 16GB Gskill 1600 mhz
Graphics Card : MSI Twin Frozr III 6950 OC/PE
Power Supply : Corsair 750W 750TX
Case : Antec 1200 ( 3 front 120mm fans, 2 rear 120mm fans 1 top 200mm fan, 1 120 mm side fan and 1 inside the case 120 mm)
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Monitor : Asus VE248QE 144hz

Heatsink Budget : $30-$90
Now, before today I was going to come on here and ask for advice on a heatsink, but today I bought one while I was at the store today to give it a try.

My old heatsink : http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2126
Temperatures : Idle 42C-45C While gaming in CS:GO 55C - 56C Battlefield 4 : 61C

The heatsink I bought today is the Cooler Master Hyper N520, to my disappointment its giving me the same idle and load temperatures, as we speak its on 45C and I ran a 5 min Prime 95 test and it got up to 66C, this is at 4.0Ghz, and I read somewhere that the temperature threshold of the FX 8350 is 60C. I would also like to mention the heatsink is running at the full 1800 RPMs and also I used Artic Silver thermal compound.

So I would like to ask the community here, any suggestions on a good heatsink that can give me good temperatures idle and while gaming, I do not plan on overclocking, I have Bf4 and I can not play it due to the temperatures, I do not want to damage the CPU.

Liquid cooling is out of the question ,because I bought a H80 Corsair Liquid cooler and it died within 3 months, so I would like to stick with air cooling because either way I will not be overclocking.

If more details are needed, I will gladly provide it, please recommend good heatsinks out there thank you in advanced.

Ok so i checked it out, could you give me numbers as far as temperatures like idle and in games/load ? to have an idea, i know you might have a different computer but some numbers would be nice, i kinda like the one you have installed.

After giving it some thought, I decided to give liquid cooling another chance but with another brand, so I bought the Cooler Master Seidon 120XL, of course I ran into a problem which is the side panel of my case doesnt close because of the radiator fans, but I ran prime 95 for 5 to 10 minutes and the CPU got to a temperature of 63C, why? Shouldn't I be getting something lower than that?
