ASUS RT-AC66U FTP Issue - Insufficient Space on 1TB drive?

I got my FTP set up on a 1TB drive. I have successfully put photos and other smaller files on there, probably a few 100MBs. I just tried to put a HD mp4 file on there, and about 75MB transfers before I get an error message saying:

There is not enough space on Movies (\\RT-AC66U)

922MB is needed to copy this item. delete or move files so you have enough space.

There SHOULD BE close to 1TB of free space! I don't know if there's something wrong or something is formatted incorrectly. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe the drive was formatted as NTFS. And the file in question in a 1GB mp4 file.

Should I format the drive to FAT32? Do you think the file would be accepted then?
