G.Skill has better quality control and better warranties. The three RAM manufacturers I'd stick with are Corsair, G.Skill, and Mushkin. There are other good brands too, but you will be safest with those three.

I'll switch to the Gseries, thanks for that info I'm definitely trying to stick to reputable brands

I might go with the 4670k if yall really don't think it will make a difference 3 years from now

You will save money by going with the i5 and thus be able to get a better GPU. Three years from now you will find people selling the i7-4770k for a cheap enough price that you can buy it then, or you may decide at that point to upgrade to whatever socket Intel/AMD is using in 2017.
