Hi All,
I have a 5 year Old comp, It has DDR 2 ram support and PCI 1.0x16 for Graphics slot.

Currently i am using Transend 2 gb ddr2 666mhz ram and 9500gt graphics card.

Now my problem is I want to play latest games in atleast medium to high settings at 720p

So I wanted to Buy AMD radeon r7 240 and 2GB of additional ddr2 666mhz ram

Is it worth? or should i change my whole comp ?

Thanks in Advance

Honestly you can score a i5 computer 8GB of DDR3, 1TB drive, DVD, Win8 for aroudn $349, swap the PSU and get a GPU of your choice and you got a system that can do 1080, high settings, around 50FPS on 2013+ titles. Your machine DDR2 alone is a bottleneck much less when we take into PCI 1.0 (current systems use PCI3.0), 9600 is on the "no longer support list' from Nvidia.

Why not just build one yourself then? :p Spending that money on a PC without GPU/ PSU and swapping the PSU + adding GPU will cost more compared to just building it correct at ones.
