Faulty temp sensor on ASUS H81M-K?

Just got a new PC yesterday, and downloaded speccy like I always do for some reason, and it had my motherboard temp at 123 celcius. So I downloaded OpenHardwareMonitor and that shoed the same, even after running them within seconds of turning the PC on after leaving it off overnight. That can't be right surely?!

There are a lot of sensors not connected most of the time so those programs read them faulty yeah, nothing to worry about.

Oh really? So I have no way of accurately measuring the mobo temp currently. Is that something I should look into fixing or is the mobo temp not really a big deal?

It's not that big of a deal, certainly with the haswell VRMs being on the die itself
