So basically, I want to hide the ugly, powerful fans behind the weak, pretty fans. if i use extra long screws, will this work? I want to put 2 red led fans in front of noctuas. I have the haf xb and want to do this twice on both front intake spots.

So to be clear, the fans will be on either side of that metal piece, with no radiator in between, held in by extra long screws going into each other.. does this make sense?
