memory shows1333MHz when i bought 2400MHz OC

Have I been short changed??

Why is my memory showing 1333MHz when I bought 2400MHz OC. should use XMP allows me to change it to 2133MHz or 2400MHz. Someone website said not to go over 2133MHz.

Memory is 16Gb (8x2) Kingston Hyper X
CPU is i7 4770K
MBOB is Asus Maximus VI Gene
GPU is Asus GTX 770

Yeah it's actually pretty normal the wrong XMP profile is selected at start, you can select the right one no problem the ram is tested on those profiles. It will not ah heck up anything. Kingston memory is generally good, they have been in the game long enough for sure.

So I haven't been short-changed? should it not have been the standard 1600MHZ instead of 133MHz.

I will do the XMP option, hoping it will not ah heck-up my CPU.

How would you rate the Kingston HyperX?
