So, yesterday I was playing Arma 2, when all of a sudden my display driver crashed (black-screen, kicked to desktop, game was still running but I had to end the application via task manager).

I had HWMonitor running the whole time, and my temperatures never exceeded 58C and 61C for the CPU and GPU respectively (in other words, perfectly safe, I have also stress tested both so themal issues should not be the problem).

I have a GTX 770 (driver version: 335.23), an ASRock Extreme 4, and a 750W Seasonic PSU.

I'm just wondering if I should be worried that my display drivers crashed. Is this a sign of things to come? Or does this sort of thing happen every now and then for no apparent reason? Should I do a clean install of my drivers? Try an older version? (I've never had this problem with my last dedicated GPU (the powerhouse that is the GT 430 :p ), so I don't know if it's normal or not)
This is a relatively new build, and so far I have not seen this problem. I will update this thread if it happens again.

Thanks for any and all input!

Thanks ~

I wouldnt worry to much about it at this point, if it happens more then try checking your hardware out test.

Yeah, makes sense. If it becomes a problem (i.e. happens more often) then I'll look into it. As of right now, it just seems like an isolated incident.

Thanks for the reply!
