I am thinking about buying Windows 8 but I often reformat my computer (for many reasons, not the point), if I purchase 1 activation key, will it work every time i want to activate my computer? Or are Win8 activation keys one time only?

Win 8 you can activate as many times as needed. Eventually, you might have to call and do it via the phone robot. But it will activate.

There is no limitation on the number of times.
