Hello community,

I'm working on a new build, my first ever, for a home machine to do After Effects and HD video editing. (Plus Photoshop, internet and the like. No gaming)

Is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card a good choice here?

It seems to the be the only NVIDIA card that is compatible with my builds. My latest build is here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3mYaK

Thanks for your time and any information you have,

Paolo

I'd say it would do great for video editing. After Effects and HD Video I wouldn't think it to be stressed a whole lot. 3D rendering may challenge it a bit more IMO, though if you're more than comfortable pairing it with your 4770k I'd get it. I only use it for gaming, though others will give their input on video editing. It seems like it'd be a good card for the little over $300 it costs.
