Okay well the title is pretty self explanatory, before you recommend me to another page, here is a list of things ive tried: MSconfig >bot>advanced setting> maximum ram unchecked
Ive checked both sticks, one at a time, computer boots with both, but for the new one it just says 4 gbs, and i used resource monitor to verify that it was being used, it was. so i used my old stick of RAM, no need to test it because i know it works, and thats when it says 8gbs of RAM (3.98 Usable) When i go to my BIOS it says that i have 8 gbs of Physical Memory. so how come when i use Resource Manager 4 gigs are reserved for hardware?
