i have recently upgraded almost all of the components in my pc (i basically built a new pc just with the old hard drives and peripherals (fans etc) and now whenever i try to boot it automatically goes straight into recovery mode and i have tried all the options including restoring to a point before i started my upgrades but it still didn't work so i tried taking out all the cards (with the exception of the graphics card as my motherboard doesn't have a graphics port of any kind) and it still wont work. my OS is on an SSD and i have 2 other HDD's for file and media storage. i am hoping not to have to reinstall windows as i have about 300gb of downloaded game files (and i dont know where the disc or code is) that i could do without re-downloading. i can probably get most of the files off of the SSD as i have a 3 TB external HDD anda 2.5'' sata enclosure. any suggestions? thanks.
