I connected the access Point to the router + connected it to electric.
My computer is not wireless computer. it connects the router with LAN cable.
I typed in the browser its default gateaway ip 192.168.1.1 and it kept loading but never loaded. what should I do? I have no idea. do I setup static IP through IPV4? I tried but it didn't work, maybe I did something wrong? please help.
My manual instructions say:
1. First, connect the power adapter of the TL-WA501G to a wall outlet or power strip.
2. Secondly, connect the LAN port of the TL-WA501G and a switch/router/modem by an Ethernet cable.
Tips: The LAN port of the TL-WA501G is Auto MDI-MDIX so you can use a straight-through or crossover cable to the LAN Port.
3. Now, with default settings, your wireless adapter will connect to the TL-WA501G AP automatically as show below

BTW My Access Point is TP-LINK 54M Wireless Access Point Model: TL-WA501G Version 2.
