Laptop CPU Fan Making Weird Noise

I wish I could describe the sound, but I cannot :( . The laptop is a Digital Storm model I bought back in 2012. What could be wrong with it, and how can I make the noise stop?

It is a constant, high-pitched(?) hum. And, I'm sure it is the cpu fan, because I did an H.264 video encode, and that uses full cpu load. The hum got louder at full load, and got lower once the encoding was done.
